It seems like every day there is a new headline, and yesterday’s is long forgotten. About ten days ago, there was a headline that I have not been able to get out of my head. A Spanish judge in Madrid had rejected the Catalan Vice President’s demand to be released from prison, where he is currently awaiting trial, on the grounds that he has not committed any violence, he has not asked anyone else to commit violence, but since he knows that insisting on voting will cause the State to commit violence, he is responsible for that violence.
